Theresa (“Terry”) Domagola, PMHNP has 22 years of combined experience in Acute Care and Psychiatry NP. She has her Master's Degree in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from University of Rochester and Post Graduate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Jacksonville University. She earned the PMHNP Student Excellence Award at Jacksonville University.
She was inspired to take this path because she noticed that many chronically ill patients also had psychiatric comorbidities, such as anxiety and depression. Unfortunately, the current healthcare climate is not conducive to spending a lot of time with each client, so she opened her own practice to provide the time and attention to the client that she believes is needed and deserved.
She believes in treating every client with respect and compassion for their unique life experiences, while providing individualized care. Creating a small hometown experience is important, as it fosters a true sense of belonging—ensuring that no one ever feels like ‘just a number.’
Through evidence-based therapy, thoughtful medication management, and holistic wellness practices, she empowers her clients to achieve balance, resilience, and lasting mental health. Her mission is to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their inner strengths, heal from within, and thrive in all aspects of life.
Terry is an Associate of the American College of Cardiology (AACC), and member of the Neuroscience Educational Institute, currently working on her Master Psychopharmacology certification. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), specializing in physical manifestation of trauma, and repressed trauma.
